Abduction has received a production in 2017 at Chicago's Stage 773, a concert at Columbia College Chicago in 2018, a reading at the 2019 New York Musical Theater Festival (Audience Choice Runner Up), a workshop production at Musical Theatre Artists of Pittsburgh (MTAP) in 2021 (City Paper’s Best of Pittsburgh Nominee and Finalist 2022), won Second Prize in New Musicals Inc. (NMI) international Search For New Musicals 2021, a workshop production at the Newport Theatre in Chicago in 2022, and an upcoming licensed production at the University of Pittsburgh in 2023. 

We love telling the story of a complicated, gray-area relationship with the place you’re from. After living through the tumultuous waves of recent years, there can be a lot for us to unpack dealing with some of our hometown’s decisions and actions. ABDUCTION allows us to laugh through the chaos with a colorful backdrop of extraterrestrial science fiction fun.
